Patrick Ashe (UK) Performance

Pat Ashe is a performance maker, live artist and games designer. His work blends genres, mediums and forms with stories remembered, overheard and stolen to create a unique performance style. He is a founder member of How We Run, a performance collective with a strong DIY aesthetic whose work focuses on the relationship between the audience and the performer. He also used to run We Want Your Dog, a performance night based in Winchester which showcased new, exciting local and national talent.

‘Beams, boxes, zig-zags and L blocks drop relentlessly down a narrow passage. You quickly spin, shift and align the shapes. It’s challenging and the pace is demanding. But satisfaction comes as each block slots in place. Tetris is amazing, see if you have what it takes to find out just how amazing it is.’

Several Amazing Things About Tetris (1984) is a short performance piece about the video game Tetris, obsession and some amazing things. A one man show in which I attempt to tell you about the video game Tetris. The show however only lasts as long as you can play a game of Tetris for, so as soon as you gets a game over, the show ends at whatever point I reached in my performance. The show uses a mix of live music, video games, projection and live feeds that all combine to attempt to tell a fraction of the amazing things that litter the history of Tetris.

Drafter (VE) Live

Coming from the second most dangerous city in the World (Caracas-Venezuela) DRAFTER raised as a pioneer on the Drum and Bass local scene with his live act "KP9000". He also played and toured extensively with leading national bands, earning various awards such as "Best live act" and "Record of the year" After 10 years touring in America, he decided to create his solo project DRAFTER, releasing his first EP on Belgian Label Coutchou Records (2011) and remixing tracks for artist such as Take, Atari Teenage Riot, +Verb, Digi g'Alessio, Cora Novoa, among others. His music resembles Latin American rhythms with synthesized pounding beats and low frequency assault, guaranteeing involuntary audience movement.
