Heather Kelley (US)

Heather Kelley - moboid - is a media artist, game and experience designer. Named by Inc. Magazine as one of 2013’s five most powerful women in gaming, Ms. Kelley heads her playful sensory design studio Perfect Plum. She is co-founder of Kokoromi, an experimental game collective, with whom she has produced and curated the renowned GAMMA event promoting experimental games as creative expression in a social context, and developed the anaglyphic stereoscopic head-tracking action-puzzler superHYPERCUBE.

In 2011 Ms. Kelley began curating exhibitions of digital artwork and games, including OPEN Signs during the 2011 transmediale festival at the Canadian Consulate of Berlin, and 2012’s Joue le jeu / Play Along at the Gaite Lyrique digital culture center in Paris, France. Her most recent multi-modal project in development, the scent-generating robot Displanoid, debuted in prototype form during her 2013 residency at Blast Theory in Brighton, UK.
