Henry quit his job last summer to go indie. His first project is award-winning party game Spaceteam, with more to come. He previously worked as a programmer in the game industry for 10 years, at BioWare and Irrational Games. His specialty is UI, but he loves playing with all aspects of game design.

My talk will be about the seeds that inspired me to start making games, the nourishment that keeps me going, and the directions I want to grow. I'll share some Spaceteam lessons and surprises. And finally I'll introduce my Manifesto: a vision of where indie games could go in the future, emphasizing freedom for creators, freedom for players, and freedom for games.
